Medical insurance in Cuba is usually included in airfare. If you booked your own flights, contact the airline to make sure that your Cuban Medical Emergency Insurance is included. It lasts as long as your flight does not change.
If you decide to extend your visit, you may have to pay between 5-$8CUC a day per person for mandatory insurance.
Guarantees covered under the present Asistur Insurance Policy are effective only during the validity period while inside Cuba.
